Hi I found your blog via through a friend. The pictures are awesome! I enjoying cooking and photography. I only have a canon powershot point and shoot, so most of my pictures are taken using that. I am trying to decide whether to upgrade to a Nikon D90. However, after seeing what you could do with a point and shot, I am very impressed and decided to put the big purchase on hold! :D

lovehandle, thanks for dopping by! You definitely don’t need a DSLR to take good shots. And even when you do move up, having a good grasp of the basics using a point-and-shoot will only make your DSLR shots better. I do have to make a disclaimer though: that shot, and many of my future shots, will be courtesy of a new big brother to my Canon S5. :) Stay tuned for more.

I got them from Ikea many, many years ago. Although I never used them until just now. They were still in their original package.

about me

I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.

If you want to learn more about me, here are 43 things I'd like to do. Here's a little something about my name, in case you were wondering. Here are some other places you'll find me:
