I sat here.
With this view.
After doing this.
I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.

Sounds like a perfect week-end!
Awesome! I am definitely overdue for some diving.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Totally gorgeous! I am GREEN with envy.
What a wonderful way to spend the weekend. You are very lucky!
Ivoryhut,
Enjoy your visit to the PI – I grew up there and learned how to dive when I was 14 out by the Capone Islands near San Miguel Naval Station.
It’s a beautiful country, and even though the people are poor, they are the most hospitable on earth. Isn’t the ocean gorgeous there?
and p.s. – please don’t touch the coral!
Hi Nina! Yeah, sorry about that coral touching thing. It was hard to fight the current, and since it was one of my checkout dives, I was still that much of a beginner that being carried off by the current after being down there for more than 60 minutes was a bit of a scare for me. Especially since I was hit by some contaminated air my previous two dives. Made me a bit nervous after that.
Rightly jealous here.
Lovely way to spend the weekend. Very cool. Which camera did you use underwater? I’m assuming you had to get one of those special housings for it? Was it hard to use? I ask all the questions because I am hoping to take a cruise next year and I’d like to take my camera snorkeling.
looks beautiful! Are you back soon? I’ll bet you’ll be tremendously sorry to leave. I would be.
Crystal
p.s. I need a map, is Bali near the Phillipines?
these are awesome!
Yeah, yeah….rub it in. :P It might get to 50 degrees here today.
Beautiful pics and you look good in scuba.
You are an amazing photographer! I can’t believe what you capture with a point and shoot (I just came from Ree’s site) and I LOVED your post on getting subjects on the same plane.
I love Asia, and I’m 90% happy for you and 10% jealous that you’re there!
