Old habits die hard

Yes, I’m still taking pictures from inside moving vehicles. Usually while being the one in control of said moving vehicle. Among my dear friends at Shrew’s place, it’s a stunt referred to as “pulling an Ivoryhut.”

Manila is known for many things. Among those are the horrendous traffic, ridiculously stressful driving, and gorgeous sunsets. Put them all together, then plop Ivoryhut in the middle of it all, and you get this.

Wonderful sunset taken from a car seat. Pretty, yes? I really couldn’t resist.

But don’t worry. Someone else was driving. Did I mention the ridiculously stressful driving here? No way I’m taking my eyes off the road for one instant, let alone take a hand off the steering wheel.

I haven’t gone that crazy. Yet.

about me

I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.

If you want to learn more about me, here are 43 things I'd like to do. Here's a little something about my name, in case you were wondering. Here are some other places you'll find me:

LOST AND FOUND

One summer night in 2010, our house burned to the ground and we lost everything we had. This is the story of what happened and how life and hope can always rise from ashes.
