Crazy

It’s been a bit crazy here, with me trying to load my entire CD collection into iTunes with the intention of putting all my music in one external drive, and then moving all my photos to a separate drive. Thing is, it’s been really slow going with the CD loading, and the photos? They’re in a drive alright, but the drive is somewhere in the computer room now and I’ve been too busy to retrieve it and work on a few more vacation photos.

Then there’s all the preparation for a month-long trip next month to the Philippines, which is another monster on its own. Good grief, more packing. Ack!

To celebrate all the current craziness, here’s a photo of some crazy Caribbean skies. It’s a stretch, I know, but hey. It was already in my Flickr account, and it was either this or trek upstairs to look for that photo drive. And my legs are pretty tired right now.

I promise, if thinking about the packing doesn’t kill me, then I’ll have more photos up as the week goes on.

Thanks for your patience. Umm … wanna help me pack?

Beautifully composed. Wish I was there. I so enjoy the Caribbean pictures, but it’s torture at the same time. :) Have a lovely journey!

It is rainy and dreary here in the NW, so seeing those beautiful pictures of the Caribbean make me smile. Happy Packing!

that pic is beautiful…my tip for packing…layout everything you want to take and cut it in half. that’s how i do it and i’ve never had a bad trip or an overstuffed bag :)

Thanks for the packing moral support and tips! Briony, I’m going the extra mile and actually bringing just the very basics. Which, for me, will involve more pajamas than anything. :) The Philippines is a great place to shop for new clothes.

Crystal, I’ll be on the first leg of my flight (which happens to be an 18-hour long leg) March 16th. I still intend to blog and post photos while I’m there.

Shrewbie – flow? What’s that? :) I just dump photos onto my drive, with a separate folder for each date. I am now discovering that it’s not the best system, but I’m reluctant to get into Bridge or Lightroom. Do you have any tips for me?

about me

I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.

If you want to learn more about me, here are 43 things I'd like to do. Here's a little something about my name, in case you were wondering. Here are some other places you'll find me:
