Back!

I swear, I never imagined southern California could be so cold. This was what the airport looked like as I waited for my 9:40am flight back.

So much for “sunny” California. Of course, just to mess with me, they’ll enjoy 70+ degree weather this week. Go figure.

So what’s “cold” for Southern California anyway? 50? ;-)

Welcome Back! Looks like your Airplane had clean windows on the outside. On my flight (in Nov) I was all ready with my wipes, dark shirt, etc, just like you suggested…well, the outside of the plane’s windows were filthy…UGH!!!!!!!!!! Oh, well. Maybe next time.

Again, welcome back. Your pictures are always a highlight, even tho’ it’s a picture of a very-rare-dreary-Southern-Cal. It’s still a great picture!

Aww, that’s too bad! I feel for you, Maui is experiencing record rainfalls and January is the wettest month there. I’m trying to decide who to blame for deciding to go in January…but I think it was me. Oh well. Glad you’re back.

Karma, I would have been glad for 50! It was actually below freezing in the morning. I couldn’t believe it. The cars had a thin coating of ice, and guess how many Californians keep scrapers in their cars. :)

PG, the outside windows were fairly clean. But that photo was taken from the ground, while waiting to board the plane.

Crystal, here’s hoping Maui has good weather for you. It could happen, you know. :)

On behalf of all southern Californians, please accept our most sincere apologies.

    We didn’t enjoy it either.

Hi Libby! Aww, how sweet are you? More pictures to come, I promise.

Stephanie, you are funny! It was actually quite cool to watch my sister-in-law try to deal with the ice coating her car in the morning while it was parked under an orange tree laden with ripe fruit. :)

First time I went to California, I headed down to the piers one day in a t-shirt .. locals told me to bring a jacket. I thought you people dont know what cold really is after all it was July … then I started walking around with my camera as the cold air blew in off the ocean … yeah I stopped and bought a jacket on the strip that day. :)

about me

I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.

If you want to learn more about me, here are 43 things I'd like to do. Here's a little something about my name, in case you were wondering. Here are some other places you'll find me:
