Some guy at the museum

Watch out for this one. He may be a hard worker, but I hear he’s got a wicked history.

Hahaha! Shrew, I have a feeling this dude ACTS like he’s still single, but between you and me, he is so not worth even just being in the same room as you.

It’s so nice to see such awesome pictures taken with the same camera that I have. Do you have extra lenses to go with it, or do you just mess with the settings on board? I’ve had mine for about a year, and I’m still trying to figure some of the things out . . .

Hey Megan! For all my non-macro shots, I don’t use anything extra with my camera. I never use the auto feature on my camera, so yes, I’ll typically adjust the settings to suit.

The only extra “lens” I really use is a macro conversion lens, which I unfortunately lost a while back. So my recent macro stuff is all just the S5′s super macro mode.

about me

I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.

If you want to learn more about me, here are 43 things I'd like to do. Here's a little something about my name, in case you were wondering. Here are some other places you'll find me:

LOST AND FOUND

One summer night in 2010, our house burned to the ground and we lost everything we had. This is the story of what happened and how life and hope can always rise from ashes.

I'm proud to belong to an amazing community of Filipino food lovers. Together, we celebrate this often-neglected Asian cuisine, sharing our family's treasured recipes and discovering new ones along the way. This is our club.
