Very slightly cropped (a few pixels on the right), but otherwise untouched. For those who like it straight up and unprocessed.
Then again, no sunrise ever needed any processing.
This post has nothing to do with the fact that I can’t do any Photoshop work right now anyway. Nope. Nothing to do with that at all.
Is it au naturel? Or au naturale? Or au naturelle? Both Merriam and Webster say that it’s au naturel, so I’m going with that.
My brain isn’t working anymore.
I’m going to stop talking now.

Except, those a/c units kinda make it hard to imagine this was from centuries ago.
The venetian blinds don’t help, either.
Had lunch with my mom in Manhattan the other day, and shot this through the window.

You can’t tell from the photo, but the place was hopping. The tables outside were empty thanks to the cold autumn wind blowing.
The place had a great selection of hearty salads. I had seared yellowfin tuna salad with seaweed, edamame, bean sprouts, and a whole lot of other good, healthy stuff.

I’m sorry, this is the best shot I could get of my salad. (Actually, I was so hungry that I started demolishing the salad and this was the last corner left intact.) After that, we had some piping hot herbal tea to prepare ourselves to face the chill outside.
See how bundled up the people are outside?

Lunch was so good that I got some sashimi-grade salmon, hamachi, and tuna from the Japanese supermarket on my way home. I don’t remember the last time I had two sushi-type meals in one day. But I’m thinking that I wouldn’t mind doing it more often.
I just love having lunch with my mom. Yeah, yeah. I know. I’m a mama’s girl.
Or Dave. Or Henry. Or … what was your name again?

This photo comes by way of one Canon S5, one snap-happy afternoon trek through Central Park, and one particularly adventurous morning playing with Photoshop with a misbehaving mouse that just wouldn’t stop clicking on stuff.
