Jen, that’s exactly what this creature was doing. I guess it was partly the heat, and partly because this is the first year we fenced off the fruit trees in the backyard that for many years never really flourished after being ravaged by the deer every spring.

The thing’s probably thinking, “Well if I can’t munch on the little fruit, I’ll just lay down here a while and mope then.”
