Time to make you cry again

Those Brits.

Make sure you have spare tissues, because now I’m going to show you last year’s winner. It wasn’t Connie Talbot, who was the favorite to win and was told that “it’s going to take something incredibly amazing to beat you.” After watching Paul Potts, it’s clear how he was indeed that something incredibly amazing – a regular guy with an ordinary job hiding an amazing talent.

This is very cruel. Did you know that I do most of my blog reading during the day…in my cube…at WORK.

You see when I have a quiet moment I mosey on over to you or KD or MusicMaven’s for a good “get away from it all” read.

My admin was worried that something was wrong cause she heard my sniffles. You know how hard it is to explain that Britian Has Talent made me cry?

Oh, you changed your design too! Looks like everyone’s getting the redecorating bug!

KD, in the course of helping Shrew out with stuff, I discovered that my previous theme was not showing my 43 Things page! Hence the impromptu remodeling. :)

about me

I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.

If you want to learn more about me, here are 43 things I'd like to do. Here's a little something about my name, in case you were wondering. Here are some other places you'll find me:

LOST AND FOUND

One summer night in 2010, our house burned to the ground and we lost everything we had. This is the story of what happened and how life and hope can always rise from ashes.

I'm proud to belong to an amazing community of Filipino food lovers. Together, we celebrate this often-neglected Asian cuisine, sharing our family's treasured recipes and discovering new ones along the way. This is our club.
