What did you say? You were expecting actual news?
I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.
If you want to learn more about me, here are 43 things I'd like to do. Here's a little something about my name, in case you were wondering. Here are some other places you'll find me:

Well the abstract lady here really likes the repetition and patterns/lines in the newspapers. Very creative. What’s on the left side of the photo?
Although the stack is intriging..I agree with brc I want to see beyond the crop…know more of the envorinment. (please excuse the hack spelling…after hours in the car and chopping onions, celery and who knows what else…I revert to the most basic phonetics…I swear I am 15 minutes from “I can has cheeseburger” caption generating)
I was looking at your photostream… where did you go to take all the cool photos of all of the unusual foods? Or did you cook Godzilla rolls, spicy mussels and ube ice cream yourself?
Brc, last Tuesday I had lunch with my mom at this awesome Filipino restaurant called Pandan Asian Cuisine. The spicy mussels in black bean sauce was our appetizer, and the ube ice cream was part of our turon dessert. Oh, and my mom ordered the buko pandan drink (which is one of my favorite shots from that day).
The Godzilla roll was from a lunch I had some weeks ago, and the green pepper stuffed with Spanish rice was my creation. I still have some chocolate cookies and pie shots to upload, but that’ll be the bulk of my November shutter challenge photos.
Last night I meant to take a photo of the duck that I roasted, but hunger gave me temporary memory loss.
Oh, and the newspapers were taken also at Pandan Asian Cuisine. They were stacked on a wooden bench right against the glass window, so the background was blown out. To the left is a marble planter that housed an artificial plant.
Brc, I took some semi-abstract photos in there and thought of you. It was nice that the owner (Linda) pretty much let me roam around with my camera taking pictures of everything. Then again, when I’m with my mom, I can pretty much get away with anything. :)
