A photo and an Alison Krauss song for Shrew

Because Music Maven’s been on a mission to lure Shrew over to the land of twang, and me, I just like butting my head in where it doesn’t belong.

But I love this Alison Krauss number, which is a cover of a Todd Rundgren original. So maybe there’s hope that Shrew will like it too.

Alison Krauss – It Wouldn’t Have Made Any Difference

And just in case Shrew doesn’t like the song, maybe she’ll like this instead:

I’m telling you. There isn’t much I wouldn’t do for Shrew.

That was a photo of the bridge by the Fort Lauderdale port from my last cruise. Of course, I mistakenly assumed it was dusk. I checked the date on it, and it was the day we got back, so it was actually dawn.

I did auto levels on the original which completely changed the color tone of the photo, but I kinda liked it that way. It reminded me of some purple-y landscape shots that I sometimes see from the professionals. So I decided to keep it that way. Oh, and I kinda softened the water in the foreground so that it would shimmer more.

IT is stoooooopid. Take it from a former IT manager. Heh.

about me

I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.

If you want to learn more about me, here are 43 things I'd like to do. Here's a little something about my name, in case you were wondering. Here are some other places you'll find me:
