My favorite photo so far

Just got back from a trip to Trinidad, and I haven’t gotten to all my photos yet. But so far, this is my favorite.

I thought it wasn’t half bad for a 1 megapixel shot off of a digital videocam. I like how it almost looks like a painting.

More to come later!

Now I can finally cross off an entry on my list of places to see. Yay!

    Wow! Visitors! Welcome all!

I know I’m such a procrastinator when it comes to updating my blog, but I’m working on it. Bear with me. New post coming this week, possibly a slight re-design too.

(Of course, I’m putting it in writing hoping that it’ll be additional incentive for me to actually do it.)

    Hope everyone is well.

If you told me that the picture was painting, I’d belive you. It’s beautiful. Nice to meet you in NYC.

Hey Jan! Yes, it was very nice to meet you too. And it was my first actual Monkbot sighting as well.

    Nice to see you here!

Love this one. Did you photoshop it or is this the raw photo? It’s very beautiful.

Thanks! Yes, that’s photoshopped, but only minimally. The graininess (is that a word?) is from the not-so-great quality of my videocam sensor, but the lighting wasn’t altered. It really was that gray, and it started pouring a few seconds after I took the shot.

about me

I write, cook, play music, and make pictures. Not necessarily in that order. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and it shows. That means I eat rice with every meal, love my cousins like my own siblings, and firmly believe that avocados are best eaten with cream and sugar.

If you want to learn more about me, here are 43 things I'd like to do. Here's a little something about my name, in case you were wondering. Here are some other places you'll find me:
